I went to school at various community colleges: Diablo Valley College, Los Medanos College, and Berkeley City College. Lastly, I completed my undergraduate degree and Professional Paralegal certification at University of California, Berkeley. Along the way, I resonated with learnings from Law, Entrepreneurship, Community Development, Monetary and Public Policy, Political Science, Psychology, Social Psychology, and Commercial/Residential Real Estate. After undergrad, I took my talents and curiosity to the Real Estate Banking and Finance industry. Working at JPMorgan Chase wasn't easy; many mentors and friends supported me along the way and continue to do so. Since leaving JPM, I have honed in my focus on serving others, working in the Consumer Protections at the highest state law office in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I am able to support attorneys in protecting consumers from abuse or disenfranchisement by big businesses.
