Andre Hamelberg

Andre is a senior at MIT, graduating this May with two bachelor’s degrees (S.B. in Chemical Engineering, S.B. in General Mathematics). Andre has previously completed internships with BlackRock and D. E. Shaw Research, and is currently the Student Body President of the MIT Undergraduate Association. Andre also does research in the Doyle Group at MIT and recently published a paper in Nature on using hydrogels to eliminate micropollutants in water. Outside of MIT, he loves to watch sports, play sports, and travel the world.
