About

Hello! My name is Breah Banks and I am a dedicated student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology and a Minor in Business Management and Organization at Spelman College. I will be graduating in May of 2024. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong passion for understanding the intricacies of the human mind and language, and how they intersect. At Spelman College, I have had the opportunity to explore various aspects of cognitive Psychology, gaining a solid foundation in theories, research methodologies, and practical applications. I have been actively involved in several psychology clubs and organizations on campus, which have allowed me to further enhance my knowledge and connect with like-minded individuals. Driven by curiosity and a desire to make a meaningful impact, I strive to expand my expertise by engaging in hands-on experiences and research projects. I believe that by delving deeper into the study of cognition and language, we can unravel the complexities of human behavior, communication, and thought processes. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the field by conducting research that helps enhance our understanding of cognitive processes and their implications within children. Outside of academia, I am a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail. I serve as the 82nd Student Government Association President, a member of the Future Business Leaders of Spelman, Dovey Johnson Roundtree Scholar, and Honors Program Scholar. I enjoy challenging myself and pushing my limits to achieve personal and professional growth. I am a good listener and possess excellent communication skills, allowing me to effectively collaborate with others and contribute to a productive team environment. As I continue my education and strive towards my goals, I am excited about the possibilities and opportunities that lie ahead. I am eager to connect with fellow students, educators, and professionals who share my passion for Psychology and Business. Together, let's explore new horizons in understanding the fascinating workings of the human mind.
