I’m currently the Chief Operating Officer of Walnut Grove Capital Partners where I lead accounting, operations, finance, and compliance, for an SEC-registered alternative investment manager which includes a hedge fund and a private equity fund.Before Walnut Grove, I served as the Controller of Sunstone Partners, a growth equity PE firm, and was CFO of Cascade Ridge Capital, a credit opportunities hedge fund. Prior to that, I obtained foundational buy-side experience from two hedge funds; Nokota Management, a multi-strategy firm, and Samlyn Capital, a leading, multi-billion dollar L/S equity firm. I was fortunate to start my career in public accounting with Rothstein Kass, specializing in hedge fund audit and tax.I am also proud to have volunteered with an international non-profit, Nuru International, and to currently serve as a mentor to undergraduate and graduate VSB students as part of Villanova University's VSB mentorship program.I received an MBA from Columbia Business School, and I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Accounting & Consulting and a Bachelor’s in Accountancy from Villanova University. I am a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).Specialties include Alternative Investments including Hedge Fund and Private Equity Operations, Accounting, Finance, Compliance, and Investor Relations.
