The Vista Emerging Investors Summit (VEIS) offers exceptional undergraduate students who come from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in private equity an opportunity to join a highly selective, 2 day virtual leadership program at an industry-leading private equity firm. Over the course of the program, students will gain early insight into a career in private equity and software investing and connect with Vista’s broader deal team. Our program will equip students with a snapshot of Vista’s intern and analyst experience, while developing the skills of a premier candidate. VEIS attendees may also be eligible to interview for Vista’s Summer 2024 private equity internship.

VEIS Program Dates: February 9-10, 2023

Eligibility: Current students enrolled in an undergraduate program, graduating between Winter 2024 - Spring 2025; Identify as female, Black / African American, Hispanic / Latino, and/or Native American

Position Summary

Investment Analyst Interns will be working closely with Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, Associates and Analysts and ideal candidates will be responsible for deal execution, market research and analysis, and support of on-going portfolio management, writing and reviewing executive summaries, analyzing data, and creating and modifying ratio analysis.

Candidates must have strong knowledge of Excel, be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.  Additional responsibilities may include contacting companies and doing extensive web-based research as well as entering and confirming information into the CRM and portfolio management databases. 

Qualifications

Must be proficient in Excel, be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must be intellectually curious and possess strong ethical character.

Tenacious in meeting deadlines, with a strong sense of urgency and good self-management discipline.
