UC Berkeley Student Association for Applied Statistics

SAAS is a community of UC Berkeley students with a shared interest in data science, stats, and machine learning. We offer educational and professional workshops, networking events, socials, research, and consulting projects. We strive to foster an inclusive community for students at UC Berkeley with an interest in data science. Through hands-on learning opportunities, we hope to equip our members with the confidence and technical skills needed for a successful transition from academic to post-graduate life. Our internal events provide opportunities for members to build relationships with like-minded peers through both friendship and mentorship, and our external events allow members to connect with faculty, companies, and other campus organizations. Currently, we have 9 committees: Career Exploration, Data Consulting, Education, Insights & Analytics, Research & Publication, Web Development, Internal Affairs, External Affairs, and Advisors.
