Yale Alternative Investments

Yale Alternative Investments (YAI) is an undergraduate organization centered around completing projects for industry leading funds, providing members a hands-on learning experience and the fund a bright and dedicated research team.  In past projects, YAI teams have generated value for partner funds by conducting market research and mapping, sourcing and pitching investment ideas, completing company due diligence, creating white papers, and overhauling basic financial models and investor materials.  YAI's work spans a variety of different industries, from pharma IT to carbon capture and storage, and anything in between.  In addition, YAI works with funds of multiple sizes and investment profiles, including a $3bn AUM HC PE fund, a $7bn AUM sustainability focused REIT, and a $13bn AUM MBS focused hedge fund - with the list constantly growing.  YAI recognizes there are countless ideas funds would love to research and investigate, but the bandwidth doesn't always exist.  We seek to fill that gap by delivering professional and quality insights, driven by some of the brightest students on the planet.  For more information, visit: https://www.yainvestments.org.
