JetSetGo is an idea stage 3-sided on-demand private aviation marketplace. The company was accepted into the Builders and Backers Accelerator (Mobility '24 cohort) in March. We've spent the past 6 months proving out the idea and doing consumer discovery on all 3 sides of the marketplace.
You can view our landing pages at we.flyjsg.com. More about me - I have been in 2-3 sided tech-enabled marketplaces for over 10 years. I started in online ordering/food delivery 3PL (Favor, DoorDash, Caviar), then moved into rideshare, property tech and telehealth. My parents were both lifers are American Airlines for 40 years each, and while I didn't pursue aviation in my early career, the passion and obsession pulled at me. After taking a hiatus from the market leader in online ordering/delivery in 2021, I entered flight training. As I got deeper and deeper into training, I became more aware of the massive challenges facing flight and commercial aviation. Coupled with flight training and my deep knowledge of marketplaces, I formulated an idea to connect pilot, plane and passenger.
The next step is to build an MVP to connect pilots, planes (owners/operators) and passengers. This could be a low code/no code MVP, however, eventually a proprietary application will need to be built. Bubble or Sharetribe could be an early stage solution. While I am not highly technical, I did go through a 16-week coding full stack coding bootcamp - as such, I can speak engineering and product.
There's much more to unpack for the interested candidates. Aviation hasn't experienced rapid innovation since the 1930's-1950s, and the time has come.
