Plata is a leading fintech company focused on banking unbanked Latinos in the US and LATAM. Plata works with employers throughout the US to transition their paycheck employees to FDIC-insured Plata accounts.
To achieve this goal, Plata is seeking a team of talented engineers to work on a project (pro bono) to help create an employer portal.
Requisite technical skills: In terms of programming languages, react and python are the primary needs. Some experience with databases is also helpful.
The goal of this portal is to streamline the direct deposit setup process for employers and their employees who have Plata's bank accounts.
The employer portal will be web-based, allowing for seamless integration with various accounting systems, including QuickBooks and ADP. The portal will feature an efficient onboarding flow for employers, enabling them to securely connect their employee data and monitor the status of their employees' payments.
Additionally, the portal will provide real-time notifications to employers, alerting them of any issues, such as delayed payroll or missed payments, ensuring a smooth and reliable financial experience for their workforce.
