As a Client Finance Intern, you'll dive into the world of healthcare advertising finance, working closely with our teams to develop financial solutions for top clients. With guidance from a dedicated mentor, you'll refine your skills through hands-on projects, workshops, and presentations to senior leadership. This internship provides a unique blend of learning and contribution, preparing you for a successful career in client finance. Expand your knowledge and network through weekly Lunch and Learn sessions and collaborative team projects.
A day in the life:
Work closely with agency departments, clients, and teams to deliver on brand needs and develop comprehensive solutions.
Build knowledge of client businesses, attend meetings, and support client strategy through creative briefs and presentations.
Proactively manage billable/non-billable jobs, client billing processes, and ensure timely invoice submission and receipt.
Regularly work with your team, manager, and other interns on projects, including a group presentation for a client, and shadow various meetings.
Review monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) and Work in Process (WIP) reports, adhering to Standard Procedures and Practices (SP&Ps).
Engage with various IPG Health teams to expand your knowledge, network, and professional growth.
What you will need:
Education: Rising junior, senior, or recent graduate from an accredited college/university, preferably studying finance, accounting, or a related field.
Key Qualifications:
Relevant coursework in finance, accounting, or applicable fields considered.
Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
Collaborative mindset, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and adaptable to new software.
Willingness to learn, curiosity, and detail orientation.
Salary: $19/hr + overtime eligibility
Availability requirements: To ensure a comprehensive and immersive experience, we require our interns to be available to work a full-time schedule during the internship period. Please note the following:
Duration: June 9 - August 8, 2025 (9 weeks)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (full-time, 40 hours/week)

Work arrangement options:
We're excited to offer internship experiences that cater to your individual needs and preferences! Choose from two format options when you apply:
Option 1: Fully Remote
Available to those living within and outside a commutable distance (100 miles from the office)
No in-person days!
Must work from your approved remote location (normally your home) 100% of the time
Option 2: Hybrid
Only available to those able to live within a commutable distance for the whole program (100 miles from the office)
Split your time between remote work and in-person collaboration at our NYC Midtown office (2-3 times a week)
