Job Overview
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Machine Learning & 3D/AR Intern to join our team and help develop immersive solutions that elevate the shopping experience. The intern will work with our AR and 3D technology, supporting the development of the SLAY Mirror and ensuring that our platform offers accurate, realistic try-on experiences for wig shoppers. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone excited about the intersection of machine learning, augmented reality, and e-commerce in the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the engineering CTO to build, test, and optimize machine learning algorithms for SLAY’s AR try-on feature.
Develop and implement 3D modeling and AR visualizations to enhance the SLAY Mirror experience.
Work with a team to fine-tune AR face tracking and product mapping for a realistic and seamless customer experience.
Assist in evaluating user data to improve personalization features and optimize algorithm performance.
Support documentation and analysis, assisting with testing protocols and troubleshooting.
Required Skills
Machine Learning: Experience in ML model development, training, and tuning.
3D & AR Development: Knowledge of 3D modeling and AR toolkits (e.g., Unity, ARKit, ARCore).
Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages.
Data Analysis: Ability to work with data analytics tools and familiarity with AI-driven personalization techniques.
Teamwork and Communication: Comfortable collaborating in a dynamic startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or coursework in computer vision, deep learning, or similar fields.
Familiarity with BeautyTech or e-commerce industry trends.
A portfolio showcasing AR, 3D modeling, or machine learning projects.
