Join Macquarie’s Futures team as a Cash and Brokerage Operations Analyst and be part of a global team providing 24-hour coverage of Futures Cleared clients’ market with exposure to work with colleagues in Sydney, London, and Chicago. What role will you play?
In this role, you will primarily focus on supporting the Cash and Margins team directly with the chance to cross-train in aspects of this area that includes client margin management, client/firm investments, general ledger reconciliations, and daily financial regulatory reporting for the US FCM as well as work on various fiscal controls around revenue streams, associated front office operation costs, as well as agency payment arrangements on behalf of our customers, specifically associated with execution services. You will use your sound communication skills to regularly engage with various stakeholders in both the front office and clearing teams. You will also be assisting internal/external brokers and front office personnel in the documentation process for execution services through the FIA portal DOCS.
Salary range for this position: $75,000- $95,000/Yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What You Offer
2 years of experience in a market-based, middle office or operations role
Display high attention to detail, the ability to work under time pressure and excellent organizational/communication skills
An eye for detail, critical thinking skills and quick grasp of concepts to work and problem-solve in a multi-paced and dynamic environment which welcomes constructive input and innovative ideas from all members of the team
Futures/Brokerage experience would be an advantage, but not essential
Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are preferred.
