Responsibilities
P&C Analytics in Financial Operations is looking to hire a data analyst to focus on Financial Regulatory Reporting - Recurring Ledger Development technical and data support which includes:
P&C Analytics in Financial Operations is looking to hire a data analyst to support Financial & Regulatory Reporting - Recurring technical and data support critical to the production of regulatory financial statements and internal financial reporting:
Extracting, transforming, and loading data for various reports and analytical solutions.
Effectively utilizing coding skills (e.g., JCL, SAS, SQL) to manage, transform, and/or analyze data using structured and well-documented coding techniques.
Effectively analyzing data and working closely with business areas responsible for regulatory filings, financial statements, and communication of results to various levels of leadership.
Building and/or modifying existing technical solutions to meet project requirements including design, coding, testing, and implementing.
Creating and maintaining automated data solutions for reports and analytic solutions.
Availability outside of standard work hours may be/will be required during month-end and year-end processing.
Qualifications
To be considered a competitive candidate for this position, candidate must possess:
Demonstrated coding skills with multiple languages, including but not limited to intermediate to advanced skills in JCL, SAS, SQL.
Knowledge/experience working off IBM Mainframe.
Demonstrated experience in Excel formulas and VBA coding.
Demonstrated learning agility to quickly adapt both new technical skills and business acumen with immediate application of skills.
Strong problem-solving and resourcefulness competencies.
Demonstrated success with executing data ETL.
Demonstrated success with executing recurring reporting tasks including building, automating, troubleshooting, and maintaining.
Demonstrates familiarity with data retrieval and various storage systems.
Financial data acumen around TDS, Loss Reserves, Fire UER, etc.
Additional desired skills:
Willingness to develop accounting acumen through working with business partners.
Experience with AWS Cloud Platform and associated technologies/query tools/services such as Redshift, S3, Starburst, QuickSight, etc.
Experience working with modernized data sources such as TSMAS.
Experience working with various BI tools including Power BI.
Experience using PeopleSoft, StatementPro, Workiva.

Potential starting salary range: $65,000 - $110,000
Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
Potential yearly incentive pay up to 18% of base salary
