Job Description Summary

As a Financial Services Associate, Escrow & Title you will have a robust introduction to the mortgage industry. You will rotate among different disciplines, shadowing for an education and understanding of the responsibilities, tasks, and/or functions performed and how they relate in the escrow and title process. The objective is for you to gain a better understanding of the mortgage industry and work environment, build a professional network and identify a position or discipline shadowed for a path to pursue. If a department-specific position is not available after the rotation period, you will remain in a floater capacity, assisting various departments as needed, until a fixed position becomes available. You are expected to follow all policies and procedures as outlined by the company. It is the philosophy of the company that everyone is our customer. What You’ll Do

Rotate through various departments over a period of up to seven (7) months to gain a comprehensive understanding of escrow and title operations.

  • Departments included in the rotation program are as follows:

  • Escrow

  • Title

  • Land

  • Finance

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Stellar organization skills

  • Excellent work ethic, high productivity, and acute attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication, follow-up skills, and a strong sense of accountability

  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing work assignments

  • Must possess a short learning curve related to the integration of new skills and tasks

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel

Must reside in TX

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

  • Remote, hybrid and onsite opportunities available

  • Report to designated work location/office as required by department and adhere to schedule

  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device, i.e. phone

  • Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher-level manager

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable

  • Comply with company policies and procedures

  • Proficiency in using communication tools such as phone and computer, including the Microsoft Suite

  • Delivers outstanding customer service through clear verbal and written communication, collaborating effectively with both internal and external customers

  • Meet role and responsibility metrics as outlined in position framework

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time

  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.
