Job Title: Endur Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking highly skilled Endur Developers with deep hands-on experience in OpenLink Endur development. Ideal candidates will bring strong expertise in AVS/JVS scripting, advanced SQL development, and domain experience in commodities or energy trading environments. This role involves working across multiple Endur modules and contributing to enhancements, integrations, and custom development for a major energy trading client.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and enhance Endur solutions using AVS (legacy) and JVS (newer scripting framework).
Support the transition from a mixed AVS/JVS environment to a future JVS-only setup.
Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, data models, and database integrations.
Work across various Endur modules including Trading, Risk, Operations, and Accounting.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring high performance and scalability within the Endur platform.
Integrate Endur with upstream and downstream systems (trading platforms, data warehouses, back-office systems).
Participate in code reviews, version control (Git), and CI/CD processes.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on Endur Development experience (5+ years preferred).
Strong domain expertise in commodities trading (natural gas, crude, coal, metals, power, etc.).
Experience working at or with major energy companies (e.g., Shell, BP, Cheniere, Citi, Direct Energy, etc.) is highly preferred.
Strong scripting skills in AVS and JVS.
Advanced SQL expertise — including complex joins, optimization, and database design.
Proficiency in Java, with experience in Endur’s OpenComponents framework.
Deep understanding of ETRM concepts including pricing, hedging, derivatives, and risk management.
Experience integrating Endur with external systems and interfaces.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Git or other version control tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and testing tools.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $100 - $110 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
