Job Purpose Investment Banking Analyst – Full-Time Program BTIG is seeks an Analyst to join its Investment Banking group in San Francisco. The Analyst will play a key role supporting new business development, transaction execution, and client management across Consumer, Energy & Shipping, Healthcare, TMT, M&A, Equity Capital Markets, and Debt Capital Markets. The program offers broad exposure to a variety of transactions, including public and private offerings, mergers & acquisitions, and complex debt financings.

Training & Development
Comprehensive, immersive technical training in financial modeling, valuation, and industry best practices
Dedicated preparation for Series Exam licensing requirements, with study support and resources
Ongoing mentorship from experienced bankers and exposure to firmwide training initiatives
Duties & Responsibilities
Support senior bankers on a broad range of transactions, including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, debt financings, and mergers & acquisitions
Prepare detailed client presentations and transaction materials
Conduct financial analysis and build financial models for various industries and transaction types
Assist in the development of marketing materials and pitch decks for clients and prospects
Interact directly with clients during presentations and transaction execution
Manage multiple concurrent projects and contribute effectively as part of a high-performing team
Requirements & Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline, with a minimum GPA of 3.5
Summer internship at a top-tier investment bank, financial advisory firm, or accounting firm is strongly preferred
Exceptional analytical, modeling, and interpersonal skills
Superior verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to excel in fast-paced environments and manage multiple simultaneous project deadlines
Strong work ethic, high level of attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
