Department Overview
Our mission is to provide the Mercedes-Benz USA organization with brand and marketing strategies, marketing analytics, key campaign performance indicators and tracking to measure the impact and performance of brand and marketing efforts across North America.

Job Overview
The Brand & Marketing Strategy summer intern will learn about what we do:

  • Develop an understanding of market research and its application to marketing strategies

  • Understand the innerworkings and brand strategy and strategic marketing planning

  • Uncover and produce strategic brief writing to drive strategic direction for national advertising campaigns

While also learning how we do it:

  • Work with multiple agency partners to define and as needed to refine goals

  • Proactively collaborate cross-functionally and build internal relationships to identify opportunities

  • Ensure alignment across stakeholder groups internally and externally

  • Collaborate with Global Headquarter teams to localize

Responsibilities:

  • Gather market research and intelligence to help inform marketing strategies and strategic brief development.

  • Collaborate with agency partners, internal business units to develop strategic briefs and monthly analytics reporting

  • Attend weekly strategy meetings and work with agency partners to add agenda topics.

  • Cross collaboration with agency Strategy team to develop campaign study reports and timelines

  • Alignment with Product Management Market Intelligence team to review and extract insights for strategic planning

  • Support research and presentation build for our diverse strategy initiatives

  • Participate in campaign planning process

  • Develop competitive analysis reports

  • Present key reports and briefings to marketing and agency teams

    Qualifications / Education:
    To qualify for this internship opportunity, you must be a rising junior or rising senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program.

  • Business Administration

  • Business Management

Desired Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and other MicroSoft Suite tools

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data

  • A self-starter who applies a solution-oriented approach

  • Strong problem formulation, problem-solving, time management, and prioritization skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Additional Information
During this 8.5-week summer internship, you will be required to work onsite 4 days a week at our Sandy Springs, GA headquarters.
