Job Purpose & Scope Responsible for supporting lending efforts across the Corporate & Institutional Banking (“CIB”) group by learning about underwriting new and renewed loans, modifications, annual/quarterly reviews, financial spreads, risk ratings and like financial analysis.
Essential Job Functions
Provides financial analysis, analytical, and underwriting support to business lines within the CIB.
Ensures loan requests are underwritten consistently and in accordance with the Bank’scredit policies, procedures, andstandards.
Manages assigned credit transactions, ensuring the loan requests are handled efficiently and processed in a timely manner, consistent with the Bank’s standards and Service Level Agreements.
Assists senior staff members with their responsibilities.
Maintains good punctuality and attendance towork.
Follows Bank policy, procedures, andguidelines.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of general financial and bankingprinciples.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and inwriting.
Ability to work effectively and professionally with staff and management at all levels of the organization.
Ability to prioritize work and manage timeeffectively in a fast-pacedenvironment.
Ability to maintainconfidentiality.
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in workproduct.
Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, andOutlook.
Basic Qualifications
Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program concentrating in business, finance, accounting, or other job-related field, required.
Completion of a minimum of two (2) years of undergraduate studies, required.
Coursework in commercial banking, preferred.
Job Expectations Operate customary equipment and technology used in a business environment, with or without accommodation.
