Job Overview Department Summary:
The Financial Strategy & Operations department is responsible for managing all budget, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes for the Customer Excellence team under Customer Services. Additionally, FS&O team oversees fleet management for Mercedes-Benz Academy. This includes creating and maintaining visuals/dashboards to track incoming and consigned vehicles, ordering vehicles for training, and ensuring adherence to allocation limits while meeting operational needs.

Project Purpose / Specific Goals & Objectives for the JAC:
The Junior Associate Consultant will primarily be responsible for managing and strategically planning MB Academy fleet vehicles by ordering/cycling inventory and maintaining reporting of inventory and utilization.

Specific Tasks & Activities during the JACP:

  • Maintaining a PowerBi document and making improvements to the dashboard.

  • Ordering fleet vehicles based on need by Technical/Retail trainers and training schedules

  • Monthly reporting of fleet utilization

  • Work with other fleet owners to shift unclaimed vehicles

  • Assist the MB Academy Operations team with course cancellation management and travel reimbursement tracking for the technical trainees

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree / pursuin a Graduate Degree or progress towards a degree in Data Science, Business,, or a closely related field preferred

  • Available from February 2026 to February 2027

  • Hybrid in-person schedule, up to 28 hours maximum per week

  • Proof of Proficiency (Portfolio, Recommendation Letters, etc.)

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Data analysis and reporting, logistical coordination skills, process-oriented and organization skills.

  • Preferred candidate is proficient in MS Excel and PowerBI.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
