Our Financial & Tax Reporting team works with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap private equity firms, corporate clients and financial institutions providing you with broad industry exposure.
How You Will Contribute You will be identifying and evaluating the key financial and operational drivers necessary to ensure a robust valuation partnership with managers and investors. You will address complex valuation challenges from critical investment, regulatory and strategic perspectives to assessing value at the fund, portfolio, and investment level.
As part of a select, highly skilled, and entrepreneurial team, you will have the opportunity to service alternative asset managers with an array of valuation services. You will be valuing assets inside equity and credit investment portfolios for a variety of circumstances including regulatory compliance for investment, financial, and accounting reporting. You will have the opportunity to get involved in sophisticated valuation engagements covering a variety of securities such as non-performing and performing loans, preferred and common equity.
Some of the main responsibilities are:
Conducting relevant research on securities, industry, market, and competitors
Building and updating financial models using discounted cash flow analyses, guideline company and guideline precedent transactions approaches. Additional modeling through options pricing models and yield analyses
Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of financial models and valuation analyses through exercising quality control reviews
Conducting due diligence and maintaining client documentation for use in model building and deliverables
Building and maintaining effective control processes to monitor and track changes to the assumptions of valuation models
Contributing to the preparation, creation, and review of reports and other deliverables for clients
Building strong relationships with clients through exceptional day-to-day project management, coordination, and execution
Proactively communicating efficiently and effectively to all levels of the engagement team
Qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field, with an expected graduation date of winter 2026, or summer 2027.
Experience in Financial Analysis and Financial Modelling
Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
Strong writing skills and experience with developing presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective project management and organizational skills
Ambitious, results driven, self-starter with a desire to thrive in an entrepreneurial culture

Compensation Statement The hourly rate is $35 per hour.
