Program Overview This internship is designed to provide meaningful experiences that help you build a strong foundation for your future career.

  • Duration: Approximately 8 weeks

  • Timing: Early June through late July 2026

  • Availability: Looking for students pursuing a degree in General Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related majors and/or Interested in Commercial Banking, Lending, Credit Underwriting, and Data Entry.

  • Houston, TX: 1333 West Loop South Fwy. Houston, TX 77027

  • Atlanta, GA: 999 Peachtree St. NE Atlanta, GA 30309

The program begins with acomprehensive orientation and training during the first two weeks, introducing you to our organization, and equipping you with the technical and practical knowledge needed to succeed.

After orientation, you’ll spend the majority of your time working onreal business projects and tasks associated with recent mergers & acquisition activities at Huntington National Bank.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School graduate

  • Undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited University (Dec 2027 or Later)

  • Willing to work in Houston, Texas or Atlanta, GA

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills 

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Course(s) of study applicable to the area of business

  • Ability to maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks

  • Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to apply logical/critical thought processes when developing solutions

  • Ability to display a positive business presence with management and external personnel

  • An interest in working within Financial Services
