Purpose of Role The MYD Intern supports the trading and sales teams by ensuring accurate daily operations, financial reporting, and client servicing across listed and OTC products. The role is responsible for performing daily P&L for both desk and client performance, investigating and resolving trade breaks, and preparing and distributing client confirmations for options transactions. In addition, this role assists Sales Traders with end‑to‑end trade support—from initial trade setup through post‑trade confirmations—while maintaining accurate trade records across internal databases. The role also performs daily and monthly invoice reconciliations with brokers and clients and supports the overall trade flow by helping to maintain the accuracy of books and records for all products.
Responsibilities
Perform daily P&L on desk and client performance.
Investigating and resolving trade breaks.
Prepare and send client confirmations for listed and OTC options trades.
Assist Sales Traders in their daily tasks from setting up trades with clients to after-trade confirmations.
Record and analyze trades in separate databases.
Perform daily and monthly invoice reconciliation and checking out with brokers and clients.
Support trade flow and maintain accuracy of books and records for OTC and listed products.

Skills and Experience:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration is preferred but accounting, actuarial science, business analytics, business law, computer science, cybersecurity, economics, finance, information systems / technology data science, legal studies / prelaw, mathematics, political science, risk management, software engineering, and supply chain management are accepted.
An understanding of option trading and specific strategies.
An understanding of coding.
Detail oriented.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle stress and perform daily role functions with little error.
A demonstrated interest of finance.
Genuine interest in one or more of the program’s departmental tracks.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.
