2026 Summer Analytics Internship Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will be:
Analyze and report Commodities data across Oil & Natural Gas derivative markets
Assist in producing detailed reports and apply data science techniques to analyze data patterns, relationships and impact of fundamentals.
Analyze data to build databases and models (regression, LLM etc.) to forecast components.
Work directly with internal team of commodity analysts across oil & NG desks.
Input and maintain data integrity for the relevant systems.
As the successful candidate you will have experience in, and demonstrate the following:
Pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, data science or related fields with excellent academic record.
Strong analysis/writing/planning skills.
Advanced proficiency with Excel & Word
Proactive, detail-oriented, reliable, and good time management / organizational skills.
Ambitious and entrepreneurial, willing to learn.
Strong interest in international commodity markets.
Additional information:
This is a paid internship – $23/hour
In person office attendance is required in accordance with Glencore’s US policy; our hours are 8:30am-5:00pm
Office is located at New York
Intern will be responsible for transport costs to/from the Glencore office.
Summer 2026 – estimated start date June 1, 2026.
