We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 1st to July 31st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About Our ACS & ABS Team Affiliate Customer Service (ACS) supports the full order‑to‑delivery process for Shiseido’s affiliate markets. The team ensures orders are accurate, shipments move on time, and any issues are quickly resolved. ACS partners closely with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Master Data, Transportation, and the Americas Distribution Center (ADC) to keep operations running smoothly.

Affiliate Brand Support (ABS) focuses on making sure brands are operationally ready for launches and ongoing business. The team helps validate product data, confirm item readiness, and coordinate with planning and supply chain partners so affiliates receive the products they need when they need them.

Together, ABS and ACS help ensure Shiseido’s affiliate markets have a reliable, well‑coordinated operational experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist ACS and ABS teams with day‑to‑day operational support related to affiliate order flow, service levels, and issue escalation.

  • Partner with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Master Data, Transportation, and ADC Operations/Wave Planning to track and troubleshoot order, data, and fulfillment‑related inquiries.

  • Collect data on recurring operational challenges and help summarize trends for leadership review.

  • Support documentation updates, process mapping, and standard operating procedure refinements.

  • Help prepare recap materials, summaries, and insights tied to cross‑functional partnership performance.

  • Shadow key partner teams to gain understanding of how their processes impact overall affiliate service performance.

  • Contribute to ongoing continuous‑improvement initiatives based on observations and gathered data.

Requirements

  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree

  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized

  • Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented

  • Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment

  • Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
