Overview Cypress Creek Energy is seeking a summer intern to support the M&A team. The primary focus of this role will be to analyze inbound data for buyside M&A processes and to support buyside and sellside transactions. This includes aggregating buyside investment data and developing M&A reports using Power BI or similar tools.

The summer intern will contribute to improving documentation, transparency, and reporting within the M&A function while supporting ongoing team initiatives.

Duties And Responsibilities May Include

  • Aggregate buyside investment data into salesforce

  • Creating automated reports that represent key buyside investment data

  • Process Q&A logs for buyside and sellside opportunities

  • Notetaking for transaction teams

  • Minimal financial modeling

  • Develop M&A reports using Power BI or similar reporting tools

  • Support reporting and documentation needs for the M&A team

  • Assist with day-to-day team activities as needed

Qualifications

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to document processes clearly

Locations:The preferred location for this role is our office in NYC. Additionally, we are on a hybrid schedule 3/week.

Compensation: The hourly rate for our undergraduate internships is $25/hr. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
