About the job
The job responsibilities as an Intern will include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Assist Estimator to:
Download RFP documents.
Review architectural drawings & specifications.
Prepare takeoffs.
Obtain quotes for materials and ensure vendors scope compliance.
Attend jobsite walkthroughs.
Prepare proposals and coordinate with client.
Assist Project Managers (as required) to:
Prepare submittal logs and submittals.
Prepare and/or check glass orders.
Prepare aluminum stocklength orders.
4 Review and compare ASIs, Bulletins, and Addendums.
Submit closeout documents and warranties.
Jobsite visits for construction progress reports.
Material deliveries.
Qualifications College Student Majoring in Civil Engineer; multitasking, self-motivated and interested in learning construction industry tasks.
